Baked Crab Rangoons

One of my favorite appetizers from a Chinese restaurant are crab rangoons! The cream cheese makes it such a rich and guilty pleasure. So, here’s a healthy spin on a deep fried favorite – bake them!

Here is what you’ll need:

  • 10 Wonton wrappers
  • 3oz 1/3 fat cream cheese
  • 1 imitation crab stick, shredded
  • 1 stalk green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

Combine crease cheese, shredded crab, green onions and garlic powder.

Spoon about 1 tablespoon to the center on a wonton wrapper, depending how big the wrapper is.

Wet the outer edges with water.

Pinch edges together diagonally (see photo above).

Place on grease cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye out – they maybe slowly begin to ooze out if in there for too long!

Serve hot and enjoy!Β This pairs perfectly with a sweet and sour sauce or sweet chili sauce.
