[Wish]List: Three for Me

So often do we get so caught up in life that we forget to treat ourselves – our mind, body and soul. Every now and then, I like to treat myself to a new wardrobe addition, manicure or a relaxing yoga session. Not only does it make me feel good inside and out, it reiterates that me time is necessary and that I deserve to be pampered every now and then.

As part of my New Year’s resolution, I told myself I’d create a list of three items ranging from reasonable to high in price. Throughout the year, if I ever feel super down in the dumps or very proud of myself, instead of reaching for a pan of brownies or a pat on the back, I will be allowed to treat myself to one of those three items.

At the end of the year, if I haven’t purchased any of these items then it will be a Merry Christmas to me – meaning, I will splurge!

So what’s on my list of three for me?

Reasonable: Foreo Luna ($199)

1421289517

…because my face needs some lovin’ too.

Expensive:  Original Wayfarer Classic, Polarized Ray Bans ($200)

1421290108

…because I’m due for a new pair of sunnies.

High-Priced: 13” 128GB MacBook Air ($999)

830235

…because my Pro from 2009 is about ready to retire.

And yes, I did notice that my “reasonable” item and “expensive” item have a $1 difference. Hypothetically speaking, if I wanted to, I could opt for the Foreo Luna Mini for $139 instead of the original. Either way, that’s my list!I recommend you make one too — you’ve got to appreciate yourself and know when to treat yourself! So if you ever see me post about a purchase of one of the above, you’ll know that I either had a really good day or a really bad day. Let’s hope for a good one though!

What would you put on your list? Feel free to leave a comment with your list of three.
