February Birchbox Review

With all of the new goodies I’ve ordered and received this month, what you haven’t seen yet is my February Birchbox! Woo – new beauty products to sample and review.

I’m still very much obsessed with my Essentiel Elements Rosemary and Mint Body Lotion from last month, so I’ve been anticipating this month’s five items even more. The element of surprise is simply wonderful, isn’t it?Let’s take a look inside…

Beauty Blender: One word — LOVE. The beauty blender gets the job done, no mess on the fingertips. I’m glad I received this in my February Birchbox because I was just about to go out and buy one!

Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Cleanser: Is it over-exaggerating to say that I could feel my pores slowly begin to unclog after just one wash? My skin did feel a little tight after my first wash, but my face needed a good cleanse. Very gentle on the skin and all organic — I may have to invest in the full-size product after my sample runs out!

theBalm cosmetics Read My Lips Lip Gloss – BAM!: Glides on smooth, but the color isn’t quite for me. I’d layer another colored gloss over this to alter the color, so I’d have to pass on this.

Gilchrist & Soames Spa Therapy Body Wash: The smell takes me to the spa and back — felt great going on but I didn’t really notice a big difference after. Pass.

BeeKind Conditioner: This gentle conditioner worked its magic on these dry locks of mine. The true test happened post-shower when I did not use any Argan oil or product on my hair, and allowed my hair to air dry for a couple hours then hit it with some heat. It was crazy how smooth and shiny my hair was after! Thumbs up to BeeKind.
