After a long week of feeling a bit under the weather, it was time for me to redeem myself. It’s crazy how lethargic and ‘not myself’ I feel away from the gym and off my routine for a few days. Now that I’ve been back at it, I’m feeling close to 100% again. I’ve been catching up on the past week’s television shows and recharging myself with some tasty yet nutritious foods.
Who can resist avocado toast especially when it’s topped with an egg? Not I! I swear, I’m not into the butters or jams and in my opinion, the mashed avocado is spot on. It makes a perfect post-workout meal or quick & easy brunch. Hours later, I made a veggie and black bean quesadilla topped with smokey chipotle Greek yogurt. I know, TOTALLY looks like a slice of pie!
Anyway, to prepare myself for the first day of spring and my birthday which is coming up in less than 3 weeks, I booked myself a hair appointed in the next couple weeks! Very exciting since it’s been a while since I last got it done. It took a while to find what I wanted to get done, but I have a few options to bring in. And as part of my weekly routine, I headed out and did some heavy duty grocery shopping for the week and picked up a few new nail lacquers to paint these naked nails of mine — they’ve been colorless for far too long.
To add to the lacquer collection:

- OPI “Lost on Lombard”
