March Birchbox Review

It’s that time of the month again! Look what the mailman dropped off to me – a box fit for a beauty babe. The first thing I noticed was the playful spring prints on this month’s Birchbox. Too bad my reaction to what was inside wasn’t as pretty as the outside. There’s always a 50/50 chance to whether or not the curated box will be a hit or miss.

So, of all the things that I got, what did I love, hate or find indifferent? Let’s take a closer look…

Elite Therapeutics Rosemary Eucalyptus Body Creme: Good stuff – goes on smoothly and dries quickly; doesn’t leave a greasy feel at all! I love the scent of rosemary but am a little indifferent to eucalyptus. Product-wise though, it’s a winter hands healer. It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product: Totally love this – I’ve used this in the past and actually chose this item specifically in this month’s box! It leaves my dry, color treated hair feeling soft and silky.

Jelly Pong Pong FLOW GETTER Highlighter: This stuff is not for me – a bit too glittery for my taste. If I use a very small amount and rub it in really good, it’s okay. But, I probably won’t use this.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser: All I have to say is, my skin feels so soft after using this! The cleanser was able to remove all of my eye make up while the muslin cloth scrubbed off all the grime and dead skin. Immediately after, my skin felt a little vulnerable but it went away after a couple hours. This stuff left my skin SO soft and pure.

Rollin Lift Revitalizing Facial Masque Treatment: So, I just recently turned 24… am I in need of a face lift already? Based on several reviews, this product may dry out or irritate the skin. Since I have sensitive skin, these little guys will be tucked away for a rainy, stressful day.

In other news… I recently decided to sample around and give Ipsy a try! Starting next month, I’ll be receiving monthly glam bags. These seem to be more makeup-focused so I’m excited to see what I’ll be gifted with. Want to try Ipsy for yourself? Click here to subscribe today!
