Whenever I ask anyone if they are a fan of cauliflower, I always seem to get the stink eye. But, why?! I, personally, love it — along with pretty much any vegetable out there. Cauliflower doesn’t have to be bland… there’s more ways to eat it than raw or steamed.
You might have seen a preview of this oven roasted cauliflower paired with my buffalo chicken zucchini boats, and now I’m going to tell you just how easy this was to make! My boyfriend, who usually doesn’t care for cauliflower, totally enjoyed this!
Here is what you’ll need:
- 1 head cauliflower
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- Red cayenne pepper
- Chili powder
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Cut off the bottom leaves. Place on a greased baking sheet; coat the entire cauliflower with coconut oil and season away! I used onion powder, garlic powder, red cayenne pepper, chili powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Totally eyeballed this — so I apologize to those who are in favor to the measuring spoons… I, for one, am not! But, I usually do my best for the sake of my readers 🙂 But really, you can season this however you want — whatever your tastebuds are craving!
Flavor this cauliflower up based on your preference, and bake for 45 minutes.
