Playful Prints & Interpretive Illustrations

Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone! So crazy that it’s already May… where did the time go?! If you’re heading out for a couple margaritas with the girls today, get your hands on this romper, ditch the sombrero and grab the fedora instead! Not only will you be a total knockout, you’ll bring the fiesta wherever you go.

Why dress drab when you can look SUPER fab!?

I’m totally loving this blue print romper from Express — the southwestern-style print adds dimension while the cool blue tones are a breath of fresh air. I love it so much that I just had to share it with you! Good thing I had my Nikon on hand.

Since the first day of Spring hit months ago, I’ve been obsessed with refreshing, bright colors and playful prints. One of my go-to pieces during the warm weather seasons are rompers — the imaginary two-piece look makes for one stylish ensemble! And if you haven’t caught on by now, hats are deemed my best friend, especially my wool felt fedoras.

A very talented illustrator, Youngsun Kim, did an amazing interpretive fashion illustration of me in this very outfit! Look how awesome it turned out 🙂 Every little detail and pattern in this romper is captured, and that isn’t easy to do! See more of Youngsun’s work on Instagram or the PolkaDot Whale Studio website. Again, a big thank you to Youngsun for creating this super playful interpretation of my style!
